Applications

Time-gated Raman spectroscopy

The combination of sub-100 ps pulse duration, stable single-frequency operation and adjustable pulse energy makes the CP32 particularly suitable for time-gated Raman spectroscopy and other advanced spectroscopic techniques where fluorescence suppression and high spectral resolution are required.

Photoacoustics

The CP32 is well suited for photoacoustic applications requiring short optical excitation pulses with excellent stability and reproducibility. Its sub-100 ps pulse duration and adjustable pulse energy enable efficient photoacoustic signal generation while supporting compact and robust instrument designs.

High precision LIDAR

Short optical pulses, good beam quality and high repetition rates enable demanding ranging and sensing applications requiring high spatial resolution and accurate distance measurements.

Underlying Technology

The CP32 is based on Picophotonics' proprietary SESAM-based passive Q-switching technology, combining picosecond pulse durations, stable single-frequency operation and a compact microchip architecture.
